The Town of Bath welcomes you to enjoy the natural beauty and cultural heritage of North Carolina’s First Town and First Port. It is easy to see why our ancestors chose to take their place here. Located on a peninsula, nestled between Bath Creek and Back Creek, Bath afforded both a protected harbor and a well-defined, defensible outlook. These benefits have contributed over three centuries to the Town’s ability to maintain the unique small hamlet Bath is today. Please take time to relax amongst the tall pines and fresh breezes at the tip of the peninsula, Bonner’s Point, with its long view down Bath Creek to the Pamlico River. You’ll see what Bath offers to so many citizens who visit from across the State: shelter from the every day hustle and bustle.
Our Office is located at 103 S. King Street. It is the old Bath High School Home Economics Building. Our office hours are Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
